Оригинал – Сен Кайдан Биласан
Language – Uzbek
Translation – I am not sure. ‘Сен’ translates as ‘you’, ‘Кайдан’ could be ‘moves’ or ‘saves’, and ‘Биласан’ seems to be ‘know’. I would like to think it translates as ‘You know moves’, relating to some sort of dance expertise, but I wouldn’t like to bet on that!

Uzbekistani disco today. Well, you’re all worth it!

My imagination is running wild at the thought of dancing to this in a club in Tashkent in 1982! Ah well, I shall just have to put on a sparkly top and pretend…join in, lovely disco people!
