8th August 2015: ВИА “Самоцветы” Налетели дожди

Language – Russian

Translation – The rains came down

OK, this confused me for a while but I think I have got it now.  ‘ВИА’, or ‘VIA’ stands for Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble (see here: https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&u=https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%25D0%2592%25D0%25BE%25D0%25BA%25D0%25B0%25D0%25BB%25D1%258C%25D0%25BD%25D0%25BE-%25D0%25B8%25D0%25BD%25D1%2581%25D1%2582%25D1%2580%25D1%2583%25D0%25BC%25D0%25B5%25D0%25BD%25D1%2582%25D0%25B0%25D0%25BB%25D1%258C%25D0%25BD%25D1%258B%25D0%25B9_%25D0%25B0%25D0%25BD%25D1%2581%25D0%25B0%25D0%25BC%25D0%25B1%25D0%25BB%25D1%258C&prev=search). So, ‘Самоцветы’ is the name of the group, which translates as ‘Gems’ (and they are, aren’t they?), and ‘Налетели дожди’ (The rains came down) is the song title.  Easy, huh?  Anyway, this song has got excellent handclaps, which is always good, as I have mentioned before…
